There's nothing that interesting on Sistic nowadays. I wonder why. Last yr was like.. WHOA~ i have my face plastered on my comp screen every month to check out what's new in the theatres! this yr.. mcm.. HAIZ!

However, there's one show/dance/movement performance that caught my eye.

SYNOPSIS

“An expedition with 1000 merchants was sailing to Singapore in search of 1000 matrimony proposals. They brought along 1000 camels as part of the marriage proposal…”As the long journey wears on, the number of camels slowly decreases and the whirling Indian Ocean mysteriously mutates the surviving camels into a new breed of creatures...

1000 Camels is a surreal depiction of the intercultural "marriage" and transition of Arabic culture in Singapore over the past years. Collaborating with Egyptian musician Tarek Abdallah playing live for the performance, choreographer Elysa Wendi explores the possibility of mapping of Arab Street in search of a new cultural emergence. As the story unfolds, this imaginative dance performance will keep you on the edge of your seat with anticipation!

OOOOOO. i wasn't aware Siti was having a concert this coming Friday. This is interesting. There was nothing on about it and no one was going on and on as well.. hrmmm... Wonder if Datok K will be there. I wonder how he looks like up close. Must be better than the pics rite? lol!

Pinocchio's Complex - 3-5 Apr 2008 ($35 - Drama Centre Black Box)

Seems like its interesting enough to watch. It takes inspiration from the original story, which was a much darker story as compared to the ones published by Disney. tralallala

Maybe i will watch this one. Anyone wanna watch it with me? Mellllyyyyyy!
